Program Overview

Each person counts and is able to shape the world.


A fundamental fact about organizations all too often gets lost to our awareness -- that is the fact that without people there are no organizations!

We invest millions of dollars and endless hours of planning and practice re-structuring the org chart, re-engineering our processes, revising compensation plans and recognition programs; introducing knowledge management systems and myriad other approaches to "reinventing" our organizations. We tell ourselves endless stories about why none of it makes any real difference: we didn't get enough executive buy-in; we didn't go broad enough; we picked the wrong system to work with; we used an inappropriate approach to achieve the kind of system change we were looking for; we had an ineffective champion for the project …and on, and on!

Even in our "people" departments we don't much talk about people …we forecast, evaluate, develop, compensate and manage our headcount, human capital, human resources, or human assets. And in many cases, we hold the highest of intentions in our approaches.

But do they make any difference? Do we actually ever consider what it is to be fully human in a work context? Are our assumptions and presuppositions about human potential based in current knowledge of how people operate or are they locked into a 19th century view? Do we believe that every person in our company makes a difference? Do we work with people or with 'systems'?

WEL-Systems provides a radical new lens through which to view and experience the world. We help you reconnect the power of the intellect with the processing capacity of the body to achieve transformative change in very short time periods. Our years of experience as managers and facilitators of change in both the private and public sectors has been extremely useful in identifying linkages between developments in the domain of human consciousness and what is possible for engaging change in corporate contexts.

Keeping in mind the compelling need for productivity and producing results in the workplace, we have many clients who have benefited by using a WEL-Systems approach to focus on people and create space for them to consider their own functioning. With this approach, the dance of change shifts to allow creative, productive and life affirming solutions to unfold.

As a Certified WEL-Systems Change Agent™, you will be invited and challenged to consider the critical importance of people to our organizations. You will have opportunities to explore the many myths rampant in today's organizations about what constitutes a "system", how change occurs, and the capacity of individuals to create change. You'll discover what the latest scientific research have to offer us in understanding how people operate and why generative (self created) change is such a powerful way to engage people in change initiatives. You'll also be invited to explore your own preferences and biases around the change conversation and discover which approaches work best for you as a Change Agent. And you'll have the opportunity to experience specialized workshops that focus on building the skills of change in specific areas such as stress management, communication, team building, career management and life long change.

We've made it easy for you to become a Certified WEL-Systems Change Agent™. The certification process is modular so that you don't have to be away from the workplace or your clients for extended periods of time. And it provides you with many options so that you can select the aspects of change that meet your needs and interests.

Here's how it works.

Power of One informationYou participate in a mandatory 2-day module called "The Power of One" which introduces you to the concept of generative change and invites you to create for yourself a larger context for the change process. You explore the ground-breaking WEL-Systems models and frameworks and become familiar with their implications for applications in a corporate context …as well as to you personally. Through this exploration you'll be able to identify those aspects of change which come naturally and easily to you. You'll also be clear about which parts of change you find difficult or that you choose to ignore and you'll engage processes that allow you to experience them differently. You'll also receive a comprehensive overview of the latest findings from science about human potential and be introduced to how various findings from quantum mechanics and chaos theory are relevant to achieving change.

Once you've completed "The Power of One" module, you then get to select 2 1-day workshop modules from our Optional Modules list. Your choice is based on your personal interests and the areas of change which you are engaging in your organizational context.

Each of the 1-day modules will provide you an opportunity to re-engage the WEL-Systems models and frameworks, building your ability to apply the models to specific change conversations. Because WEL-Systems is a lens or perceptual filter, you'll discover that it has many applications and that your creativity and commitment as a WEL-Systems Change Agent is the factor that will make the difference to your clients!

Once you have completed the 4 days you will receive your certificate and be eligible either to create and deliver your own WEL-Systems based presentations, seminars and workshops dealing with personal, generative change or you can purchase and deliver the 1-day modules you experienced as part of your certification program.
