Coaching

High performance athletes have two advantages that most business people do not: they are focused on a clear and specific result and they know that their ability to produce results is what keeps them in the game. Athletes long ago learned that a good coach can help them attain the focus they require and to continually produce results so that they remain in the game.

While the business world has adopted coaching as a way of helping its executives and employees improve their performance, business coaching is a far cry from sports coaching.  Consider some fundamental differences:  business people must often pursue several results simultaneously; and the results we produce typically involve many other people so that our own contribution to a result can become cloudy.  Individuals often remain 'in the game' long after they have ceased to produce results!

Since all meaning is context dependent, we have found that effective business coaching always starts with a conversation about the context for the coaching engagement that includes an educational component so that you have access to new ways of thinking before you engage.  Whether you are seeking individual business or executive coaching, a coaching program for your team or company or if you are a coach who is seeking to expand your capabilities, the context you establish for yourself will shape and frame what is possible for you.

We specialize in helping you create and implement a coaching context that will create the results you desire.  We encourage you to drop us an e-mail or phone for more information about:
